Why this specific audience

There is plenty written for solo operators, and plenty written for companies large enough to employ an office manager. The stage in between , your first hire through your fifth, is where the expensive decisions actually get made, and it is badly served.

That is the only stage this site covers, across cleaning, landscaping, handyman, pest control, painting, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and similar field trades.

How recommendations are made

Every commercial page here answers the same questions before it goes up. What does this actually cost for a business this size, which features matter at this stage, which ones are irrelevant, who should buy it, who should skip it, and what the cheaper option is.

Where a free template or a spreadsheet genuinely solves the problem, the page says so and gives you the template. A two-person cleaning company does not need dispatch software, and a site that never says that is not worth reading.

How the site is funded

There are no ads, no sponsored posts, and no paid placement. The site intends to earn affiliate commissions when a reader signs up for software through a link here, at no extra cost to the reader.

That model creates an obvious pressure to recommend buying things. The way we handle it is to keep the free tools and templates genuinely useful on their own, and to be explicit about when not to buy. You can read the full affiliate disclosure.
